Mancini has to bear full responsibility for City finishing with 10 men.
Balotelli was running around like a nutjob all day and it was only a matter of when and not if he got sent off. Should have been substituted at half time.
Looks like the lunatics have started to run the asylum over there. Absolutely dominated by Arsenal.
I hope the rats start to flee the sinking ship. They had their chance to get something done and given their massive transfers and payroll I would have to say that 1 FA Cup is a brutal return. Go Go FFP.
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini cast doubt over Mario Balotelli's future after his red card in the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal.
The Italy striker was dismissed for two bookable offences as City fell eight points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United.
His challenge on Alex Song, missed by the referee, may be investigated by the Football Association.
Asked whether he would try to sell Balotelli, Mancini said: "Probably."
Mancini admitted that José Mourinho's assessment of the striker as "unmanageable" may prove prophetic, with team-mates visibly frustrated as Balotelli's second foul on Bacary Sagna prompted the late red. City were quick to distance themselves from suggestions that there had been a physical confrontation between players in the dressing room after the game, but when asked whether he would now seek to sell a player who has scored 17 times this season, Mancini said: "Probably." He was reportedly more explicit on Italian television, saying: "We will sell him."
Am I ever glad that I took two hours of work time to watch Tottenham v. Norwich live today. Probably the result of the season for Norwich, although admittedly, Tottenham looked scattered for most of the match. But to walk into White Hart Lane and defeat a team that was gunning for Europe - just awesome.
I even put my green #9 Holt shirt on this morning, and the Canaries wore green to boot. The only downside is that my day has peaked and it will all be downhill from here.
They were by far the better team, just carved open Spurs time after time
had 3 penalty shouts, 2 of which were definite pens
wasn't snatch and grab, it was a demolition
Your assessment is pretty accurate. I think that Norwich played well against Everton and deserved better than a draw, but today vs. Tottenham was a very good, all-round performance. Got lucky with the woodwork on one occasion, but as you mentioned, were unlucky with the officiating at times.
A Stoke/Villa draw helps preserve their league position, and if Chelsea can hang on to beat Fulham, I'd say that it has been a pretty good day from a Norwich perspective.
If I wasn't a Canaries fan, I'd be disappointed with the Tottenham loss. I'd rather see them in Europe than Chelsea, but Spurs' form as of late has really made it difficult on themselves.

Well today went just about as good as I could ask for, a 2-0 win against Bolton, a 4-0 Mackems loss, a Spuds loss and a Chelsea tie - all works out to a cozy spot in 5th place!

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is set to receive a nine-match ban if he is charged by the Football Association for his tackle on Alex Song in Sunday's Premier League clash at Arsenal.
Referee Martin Atkinson did not award a free-kick when Balotelli made a knee-high challenge on Song in the first half at Emirates Stadium, but it has now been confirmed that at least one of the officials did see the incident at the time and therefore no retrospective action can be taken.
If those are the rules what can you do? Hopefully, Atkinson at least moves down the ref rankings so that he gets no more high profile games (or even premier league games). For him to have known about it and still take no action is outrageous.
If it was one of the other officials who saw it, then they both should move down the pecking order.
