The Stormers have announced the loan signing of Canada number eight Jebb Sinclair, who joins the squad from Premiership side London Irish.
Sinclair comes in as loose forward cover for the side, with Schalk Burger, Duane Vermeulen and Nick Koster only due back after the break in June.
The Canadian international will be available for the next four games for the Stormers and will then play for Canada in the June international window before returning to Cape Town for the Stormers' remaining three Super Rugby league fixtures.
In terms of the Sanzar regulations he will not be eligible to play any knockout games for them.
Sinclair has 25 caps for Canada, the last being the RWC clash with New Zealand on October 2
Coach Allister Coetzee on Wednesday named the Stormers team to take on the Waratahs at Newlands on Saturday. Kick-off is at 19:10.
There are two changes to the starting XV that beat the Cheetahs last week, the first a rotational change with the hookers trading jerseys. Tiaan Liebenberg moves from the bench into the starting line-up with Deon Fourie playing from the bench in jersey No 16.
The other change is an injury enforced change that sees Canadian international and London Irish No 8 Jebb Sinclair get his first start at the back of the scrum, in for the injured Nizaam Carr. WP player Don Armand is named as cover on the bench in jersey 19.
This weekend also sees Dewaldt Duvenage get his 50th cap for the Stormers and Bryan Habana will play his 100th Super Rugby game.
The Stormers have won nine from 10 starts this season and are currently one point behind the Bulls in the South African Conference.
The game is the Stormers' last home fixture until after the June international break when on June30 they take on the Lions at Newlands.
The Stormers in the next two weeks will face the Sharks and the Bulls, both away, before the June international Test window.

Rugby bringing Ireland together. I am not fully up on my Ireland and Northern Ireland history, but I do know rugby has always been unified (at least as long as I can remember.
The fascination for this lies mainly outside the province. People in the North just get on with it. The Ulster rugby team enjoys more cross-community support than ever but no one feels the need to shout about it. Many in the nationalist community may not have made an emotional investment in Ulster rugby yet, but they are quiet well-wishers nonetheless.
I meant to post something leading up to it, but Canada played Georgia yesterday and won 31-12. Managed to get out about 3600 in Burnaby for the game. It would be nice if they played in Calgary again sometime soon. We could get at least that many out I think.

Where in Calgary would they play though? The CRU would have do bring in some serious bleacher additions to get that many people. I know there would be the interest I just don't think we have a venue.

They hosted Australia, years ago at Kingsland. The CRU can easily fit in the extra stands.

Canada has hosted at CRU before though. I went to Canada-Chile there a number of years ago and it was good. I have no idea how many people it holds, but it was definitely full.

also saw the Maori there with C. Cullen at 15.
CRU has the capacity.
The game can also be played on the turf at McMahon, but that is too big IMO.
Ya, McMahon is way too big! I think that CRU is fine and with some standing room they could get enough there. Frankly if its ever big enough for McMahon it probably goes to Commonwealth first anyway.
