I wonder if Trump said send them boxes, bigly boxes and the organizer just assumed Trump wouldn't be so stupid as to say bigly so they went with Big League?

What kind of country would America be, unless the President is allowed to take advantage of the not so bright people, for personal gain.

Daily reminder that it costs $.5 million a day to have Melania & Barron Trump stay in New York. Current total post-inauguration: $64,500,000

No, Christians aren't violent in any shape or form and are the highest level of thinkers around.

We are fortunate because we live in a secular society where we at least try and respect other religions and peoples. This is because we have highly educated people compared to other parts of the world. It is hard to reason with someone when their worldview is constructed by a single text written from a single perspective. If you are only exposed to one book, you are likely going to accept what that says, whole cloth. This is not just restricted to those backwards Muslim nations, we see it right here as well. There are plenty of parts of the US, and Canada for that matter, where backwards ideas are still held in high regard, simply because of ignorance. Secularism gave us the strong educational system we have and the tolerance we claim to embrace, no matter how hard Christians will try and claim otherwise.

Macron tears a strip off the Russians, in Putin's face. The contrast between the budding statesman Macron and the whiny little bitch is enormous.

I thought this was good work by Macron.

Reposting from other thread. Again this quote from 2001. The issue is Saudi influence over the years and the subsequent growth of extremism afterwards.

It's Saudi Arabia and its network of charities and the like. The argument I make is that there is an undercurrent of terror and fanaticism that go hand in hand in the Afghanistan-Pakistan arc, and extends all the way to Uzbekistan. And you can see reflections of it in Bosnia, in Kosovo, in Indonesia, in the Philippines.

In order to have terrorists, in order to have supporters for terrorists, in order to have people who are willing to interpret religion in violent ways, in order to have people who are willing to legitimate crashing yourself into a building and killing 5,000 innocent people, you need particular interpretations of Islam.

Those interpretations of Islam are being propagated out of schools that receive organizational and financial funding from Saudi Arabia. In fact, I would push it further: that these schools would not have existed without Saudi funding. They would not have proliferated across Pakistan and India and Afghanistan without Saudi funding. They would not have had the kind of prowess that they have without Saudi funding, and they would not have trained as many people without Saudi funding.

I think the saddest thing is he doesn't realize he's the biggest joke of all. I also kinda hope his non-stop German trashing results in those car companies closing their plants and costing tens of thousands of Trump supporters their jobs, primarily cause I wanna see how they blame it on Obama.

Intelligence officials are acknowledging now they intercepted discussions between Russian officials having "derogatory" information about Trump and Associates during the campaign. What was disclosed in the discussions and the level of Kompromat they constitute are not immediately clear, but most of it was financial and revolved around the amount of leverage they had over Trump

Quote:
Russian government officials discussed having potentially "derogatory" information about then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and some of his top aides in conversations intercepted by US intelligence during the 2016 election, according to two former intelligence officials and a congressional source.

One source described the information as financial in nature and said the discussion centered on whether the Russians had leverage over Trump's inner circle. The source said the intercepted communications suggested to US intelligence that Russians believed "they had the ability to influence the administration through the derogatory information."

But the sources, privy to the descriptions of the communications written by US intelligence, cautioned the Russian claims to one another "could have been exaggerated or even made up" as part of a disinformation campaign that the Russians did during the election.

The details of the communication shed new light on information US intelligence received about Russian claims of influence. The contents of the conversations made clear to US officials that Russia was considering ways to influence the election -- even if their claims turned out to be false.

White House PR chief resigns in what is likely the beginning of a massive WH shakeup.

Quote:
Mike Dubke has resigned as White House communications director in the first of what could be a series of changes to President Trump's senior staff amid the growing Russia scandal.

Dubke, who served in the post for three months, tendered his resignation May 18. He offered to stay on to help manage communications in Washington during Trump's foreign trip, and the president accepted.

Dubke's last day on the job has not been determined. But it could be as early as Tuesday, when he was expected to meet with his staff at the White House, said a senior administration official, who required anonymity to discuss a personnel move that has not yet been formally announced.
