Default Indiegogo Fund for N. Cirillo and P Vincent Families

Here is the link.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/f...-cpl-n-cirillo

I started a new thread so it isn't lost in the other threads. I think it's that important.

Note there are two ways to give. If you give to the

Stand on Guard Fund - it goes to both families equally
Marcus Cirillo Trust - it goes to the trust for Marcus Cirillo

Great coaches corner tonight. Don hit it out of the park in bringing this to the forefront while everyone's thinking of it.

Why is this being done through indidigogo and not directly to a registered charity. Looks legit with the big company names but is there a way to donate directly without having indigo go taking a cut and the risk of this not going to the actual cause.

Just wanted to share the last update from Indiegogo

Quote:
Some say that Canadians are apathetic, that online activism is just a bunch of clicks and wasted time. Our answer is simple: in just 7 days, Canadians raised $700,000 for two families whose loved ones were murdered wearing our country’s uniform. Individuals, religious groups, associations, unions and companies donated as little as $1 and as much as $50,000.

There have been some very good and inspiring attempts to make sure that the families are taken care of.

I think the Sun media one hit its target as well.
