Did you pull him aside and tell him to watch his back 'cause Alberta has eyes everywhere?

Women. Can't live with 'em, can't leave by the side of the road.

What would possess a couple of wear matching shoes? I saw a couple out yesterday evening and they had the exact same running shoes on. To me, it seemed really bizarre like a “we got a two for one deal on shoes”, but why would you wear them at the same time? Is this supposed to be cute? I mentioned it to my kids that it seemed weird and like maybe one was suffering because rarely would a couple feel comfortable in the same shoe, but they told me I was talking to loud and to be quiet. Anyway, I saw that recently with a couple wearing the same jacket too. Also kind of not something I would find cute or romantic, but who knows. Some things don’t stand out as much, like if you’re both wearing jeans, that would be fine, but jackets or shoes. That stands out in a sea of randomness.

I was going to say, I've been on vacation with my wife before and there was a pair of runners that she liked and it was '2 for 1' so I got a pair as well. Granted mine were a different colour.
I dont know. Were they Elderly?

I've seen that before. Doesn't really bother me tbh, maybe a little weird.
I have found myself much more triggered by overzealous PDA recently. Probably because I'm envious.

Meh. The OOT is their thing. Doesnt bother me. If it Grinds your Gears then you're in the wrong thread.

No, they were young, maybe 20s. That’s why I am a little unsure if this wasn’t some kind of new romantic gesture or showing off that you’re bf/gf.
Anyway, these were New Balance shoes with a prominent N on the sides.

Yeah, I kind of naturally assumed.
So this couple should be kindly but firmly shoved into the Sea.

My gf and I used to have matching sunglasses. Now I’m wondering how much it annoyed people.

We see this all the time on vacation when we go down to Florida or the Caribbean or a cruise. Couples will wear matching outfits or families will have t-shirts made saying "Jones' 2024 Family Vacation" or something equally stupid. I don't understand this obsession.
