Haha, wow. The Caps just can't catch a break against this team, even without Crosby.

Hahaha, the Caps against Pitt is sooooo the Flames vs Anaheim. They can't win, they just can't.

Why wasn't Malkin on the NHL's top 100 list?

If Malkin doesn't throw that pick Backstrom has an easy clear or shot at the open net. Brutal.

Feeling bad for the Caps. It's like the Flames with the ducks.

How is that not interference? Just another example of the officials being a joke. I'm no caps fan but wow.

honestly, pittsburgh just gets all the breaks... crazy.

Time for Washington to blow it up; they can't get over the mental block to beat Pittsburgh... i mean 11-1 shots for Washington in the third until that last 3 minutes...then they shot 2 on 5 shots

A lot of the people who left early are probably kicking themselves now. I'd say 1/4 of seats were empty with 2mins left.

Yep, losing their top defenseman for the year, losing their #1 goalie before game 1 round 1, losing their captain and reigning Conn Smythe winner in game 3 against their biggest rival...yep. Pens get all the breaks. Lucky guys.

Interesting how Makin has a habit of going into beast mode when Crosby is out. Makes you wonder how he would fair on 'his own' team.

Man, I really hope Crosby isn't out for too long. If by some horrifying circumstance the Oilers actually fluke their way to the finals, the Pens are likely our only hope of preventing the apocalypse.

This was my second thought.
First thought was, as a hockey fan, how heartbreaking it was to lose Sid again.
Maybe I'm wrong, and he'll be ok. I don't think so though
