Washington's entire playoff history is such a travesty. Probably the one American team I can relate to the most, sadly.
Maybe Buffalo as well.

Yup, and they could be for awhile, they have some expensive older deadwood coming off the cap next year so they can re-tool some talent.

I liked how Sullivan managed his star players in the third with a big lead. rest is key to win a cup.

It's going to be interesting for sure. An average article here with some good questions (and ridiculous answers):

Jesus. I can't believe NHL on CBC cuts away at the end of the night like that?
That's cold

I logged in for the specific purpose of complaining about Sportsnet's post-game coverage – or more accurately it's complete lack of postgame coverage. I would've loved to have heard Hrudey's take on Washington starting Grubauer in the third period with the team only down to goals, but instead the channel cuts directly to SportsCentral. And what little post game coverage they do have is broken up into a few interviews in one analysis segment spread out through the first 45 minutes of the show, none of it involving the Panel.
Pathetic.

Kind of a joke that Gretzky didn't state that Crosby was the best 19 year old to play in the NHL.
Crosby and Orr leave everyone in the dust.

I also suggested it wasn't a great trade and that he was a pp specialist and countless people disagreed.
I was really hoping he ended up an Oiler. He's so bad defensively and makes so many mistakes. Not shocking a team who was already good offensively got worse when they added an offensive minded d-man that makes mistakes.
Kris Russell 2.0.
