Any word on the goalie? Guessing Elliott to keep him sharp with playoffs not starting til Thursday but wouldn't mind seeing if Gillies can repeat game 1.

I hope Wideman plays great again. I'd rather see him in the playoffs then Bartkowski.

They can play Elliott foe the first period and then give Gillies the 2nd and 3rd. Keeps him sharp and rested.

Highly doubtful, or at least you'd think they'd want to get they starting goaltender some playing time before the playoffs start.
Would be a bad decision to start anyone other than Elliott tonight.

More than likely he is the back-up. Elliot needs this game because flames playoffs might not start till thursday. Thats to long of a layoff.

Just think last year at this time this thread would have been over the top with resentment and anger as the next time we would see the Flames would be in Sept.

Now we're almost casual about this game, and we're debating who we're going to play in the first round.
