I did that for one of my brackets but managed to get a very believable Ducks over Capitals lol.

I was checking standings for the Sportsnet pool and saw that Hi-Psi is ranked 138th overall today out of well north of 50k entries. Pretty cool!

Naturally, I picked Mrazek and Lehtonen as my goaltenders

The guy in first place worldwide correctly predicted every series winner and length except for TB-DET, which he had going 7.

Hi-Psi is currently tied for first overall in the Sportsnet pool, as in first place in the entire thing and if it ended today he'd possibly win like 50k.

I have the exact same D and G as Hi-Psi in this round, including our stars I'm pretty sure. obviously my forwards are killing me.

Yeah it's pretty crazy, I'm kicking myself for choosing Tavares as my forward star and for putting Crosby in... Somehow I need to try and stay in the top 10 through this round and the next round in order to stay in contention. The next round is going to be super stressful making my picks if I'm still in contention lol

Does anyone have suggestions for Round 3/4 of the Sportsnet pool? Is it best to just pick 2 teams that you think will be in the finals and build your team out of that or? I've never done a pool where you're stuck with the same team for both rounds

Well I had the Ducks and caps in the finals... And Blackhawks and Ducks in the Western semis. Oops

I would say yes, that's how you should do it. There are no prizes for hedging. There is bound to be someone near the top that picks only guys from the finals teams... Hell, it's a 1/4 chance you get the correct teams by random chance.

My two Cup teams are still in the playoffs so I can possibly move up a bit more. I should get a few points for knowing that Washington would go out in the second round but I picked NYR to beat them instead of Pittsburgh.
