I couldn't agree more, this show is amazing

I gave up watching after Season 1 because I didn't particularly enjoy the Guilty Remnant storylines. Picked up Season 2 about a month ago because there was nothing else to watch, and I'm glad I did. Now I'm all caught up and it's only getting better.

I'd like to get a ticket for the next time the Frasier Cult takes over that boat. Looks like quite the time.

I thought I had seen this David Burton character before on the show, and it appears I did. (Probably spoilers in link if you are not up to date on the show).

Whoa... I wouldn't have recognized him at all.

I did recognize him from "The Night Of" though.

I really liked the latest episode. Amy Brenneman's "Laurie" was the glue through the whole show. We finally get to see why she joined up with the Guilty Remnant. She was left with no answers for that poor mother that we see again in flashback from the early episodes. In the end, Amy dives off the boat and presumably completes the task that she started way back in the beginning but couldn't bring herself to finish. I presume she completed it. You never know with this show. With only two (!) episodes left, it felt like her "goodbye" scene.

Also, both Nora and Matt's characters seem to be wrapping up nicely. I hope we see her in one of the last two episodes to tie up any loose ends with Kevin. Maybe we'll see if she reunites with her family?

...and with that, we are down to one episode left. "The Most Powerful Man in the World (and His Identical Twin Brother)" was a weird one, reminiscent of last year's season more than this season.

Spoiler!

If Kevin isn't the savior then what is he? just a guy with love problems?

I'm starting to think nobody else watches this show ha ha.

Last night's episode completely lost me. I know this show is out there, but that episode just left more questions than answers. Not sure how they are going to end this so quickly. I fear we are going to get no resolution, as you suggest above, the disappearance will just be left unexplained with everyone just moving on.

The show has never been about "solving" the departures. It's been about the people dealing/coping/moving on from such an event.

I don't believe we will find out where they went to, and I don't care. I do care about what happens to characters like Kevin/Nora/Matt and I got to imagine we find their conclusion on Saturday.

Can't wait to find out where the "old Nora" from the end of S3E1 came from.

Loved last night's episode. A lot of fun to dissect.

I can handle the whole not getting answers to the departures, but I don't think we are going to get any answers on Kevin Garvey either. Why can't he die? Why can he keep coming back? A lot of time invested into this god angle to basically end it next week without resolution.

Part of me wonders if the remaining people are actually the Departers. The folks that were thought to have departed are actually still on Earth wondering what happened to 98% of the population. If Kevin was actually dead or Departed that might explain why he can die and come back to life repeatedly.
