Canadian women have been cursed at the World Championship final in recent years - they save all their good karma for the Olympics I guess.

Those rumours of the Flames wanting to draft Kucherov makes me wonder how solid this Calgary roster would be with him in it...

If leafs lose both of their games and both Islanders and Bolts win both of theirs, who gets in?

Islanders as they would have more ROW wins (as long as they don't go to a shoot out in these last two games).

I don't understand how the Leafs not being good at 3-on-3 and Shootouts means they are not a good team. A loss in the shootout is not the same as a loss in regulation so stop counting it as the same thing.

I don't know. I've hated the Leafs my whole life and then I watched them do what seemed like a quick on the fly rebuild. Only one really terrible year where it paid off with the number one overall pick. Have a world class coach, a young exciting team that's hard not to like. I've found myself cheering them on. I can tell you this much. I'd much rather all the non stop media coverage of Matthews hoisting a cup then McDavid. Every single time.

If there was a game that Tampa would lose it was the Montreal game, Now they close out against a pretty bad Buffalo team playing the second half of a back to back..

Toronto has games against Pittsburgh and then Columbus the next night.

I think there's pretty even odds that the Leafs miss, things seem to be turning against them.

Assuming the Leafs, Islanders, and Lightning all have 94 points when all things said and done, who will get in?

Only problem is both those teams have nothing to play for.

Not only that, but you have to think both the Pens and BJs would rather the playoff proven Lightning miss as opposed to the green Leafs.

If all four teams finish on 94 points you first look at ROW and then head to head:

-Leafs are in if the Lightning win is in a shootout and at least one of the Islanders wins is in a shootout.

-Islanders are in if both wins are in regulation or OT.

-Lightning are in if they win in regulation or OT and at least one the of Islanders wins is in a shootout.

Should be an exiting finish!

The Bolts are still alive in the playoff race.
