Scanning Tickets @ The Dome Without Physical Ticket?
Hey quick question for Flames' faithful.
I'm coming to the game tonight straight from the airport and have the tickets on my blackberry in PDF format but won't have access to a printer between now and when I get to The Dome.
Anyone know if they can scan the tickets (barcode) a la airport style through the blackberry or ideas of what else I could do?
I know they can punch in the barcode number as well, I had some tickets I'd printed myself just as the ink cartridge died and they we're having trouble scanning the faded ink on the barcode. So they took the slip of paper and punched the number in manually.
Never tried it with just the PDF on my phone though, worth a try, just ask em to trying punching in the code.
Tried it about a month ago and the usher lady would only scan the paper copy. We talked her into just trying it after she scanned the paper, and it worked perfectly.
My Yotes seasons are on little credit cards, just swipe and you're in the door. Does Calgary do that?
I'm not sure about Calgary but my Red Membership card for Arsenal is a contactless card that I use at the gate. It actually uses the same technology as Oyster cards so I can't carry them in the same card wallet.
