It happens on occasion. It's happened 38 times in the NHL this year, Hampus Lindholm for the Ducks actually has 5 faceoffs taken this year.
The only time I recall the Flames having this situation in the past is when they were on a 5 on 3 PK and the centre was thrown out.

Anybody knows what time is the Providence game today? Are they showing on BTN or anywhere?
Never mind... SureLoss mentioned it in Page 14.. TSN4 will show it in progress. Game starts at 6:30pm.
