Good pressure by the Heat early. Shinkaruk-Vey-Lomberg line on the cycle.

1-0 SJ.

Gillies beat from the faceoff dot with a shot glove high.

San Jose up 1-0.

Not sure if Gillies had a chance on that or not. I am leaning towards weak goal

For those that watched alot of the Heat this year, does Pribyl still have a chance to make the Flames? How has he looked through the year? Or is he most likely best suited to head back to Europe.

He has shown he has a lot of skill, but he can't seem to convert it to actual points. I am not sure if it is because he has been injured throughout the year or not.

Assuming he comes back next year he would have to an outstanding camp and/or early part of the season to work is his way back into call up consideration.

Whenever I see Kylington fall down out of nowhere or get muscled off a puck I lose a little bit of hope but then he goes and makes a rush and pass like he just did and I get all my hope back and more

The Heat are making a big push now. Vey's line is looking great.

4-0 final after an empty netter. The Heat had their chances in the third but Grosenick shut em down. Janko had a poor game, but Mangiapane impressed along with the Vey line. Kulak was excellent as usual.

The game tonight starts at 4 PM

The Heat will need to win to avoid being put on the brink of elimination in game 3 next Friday.

Brandon Kisker @kiskerbc
One lineup change for Stockton. Ryan Lomberg comes out. In his place, young @mattphillips_8 comes in.

Brandon Kisker @kiskerbc
That’s assuming Doetzel remains out on the blueline. He is out for warmups as Stockton has 7D out there.

I would expect that means Lomberg is injured.

Brandon Kisker @kiskerbc
SJ gets Timo Meier and Marcus Sorenson back from the big club. Meier is in. 3pts in 5gms vs. STK but is a -6.

Jankowski has the Stockton Heat's first ever playoff goal

1-0

Made a decent move too while fighting off the defender

Gillies with his first real test on Meier on the PP. Makes a good save after Meier puts the puck through Kulak's feet and splits the Kulak-Aulie pairing
