Late action everywhere, Spurs take the lead in 83rd, Chelsea score two in 7 minutes with the first at 80, and Hull continue their march to the title with a goal in the 79th.

Well that might have been the most boring game I've ever watched. 81% possession for Liverpool, but never looked like scoring.

The greatest shocker for me is that Hull City have 6 points after 2 games. With all their issues, I never expected anything like that.

Might not see a worse miss this season than Janssen's sitter today. Ugly win for Spurs but 3 points is 3 points and they were the better side.

Couldn't for the life of me wake up at 530 to watch the City game, but watched it on pvr as I was getting ready to do my chores for the day. Pleased with the effort especially compared to match 1. It's early but Manchester has a high chance of the trophy coming this season. Blue or red ribbons.

They look impressive to be sure, but we're two games in.

I'd like to say 3, with that win over Leicester. I can absolutely see a cultural difference between this club and the Moyes/Van Gaal ones. That confidence is back.

They've played Bournemouth, a Leicester squad who also lost to Hull, and a depleted Southampton. I'd like to see how they match up against the other "big" clubs, how they deal with adversity, etc., before making any grand proclamations.

Man, the Spurs- woe spinning is deep. Lol, "grande"

Watch how I say the same, objectively.

Leicester hadn't lost to anybody when they played their match and were reigning champions less one player.

If we're going to look at it from the rear view today, Hull is looking like relegation is not in the cards & Leicester is square with Arsenal. Saints depleted? sure. But United didn't choose the schedule, and that was a convincing win.

Does Kane replace Zlatan in two years? Or do they aim higher?

Are United fans that thin-skinned that someone not wanting to bet the farm on their squad after two games really rustles their jimmies?

Liverpool apparently had 87% possession in the 2nd half today. Not sure I've ever seen a number that lopsided before.

Credit to Burnley though, they controlled our movement really well and executed perfectly. They constantly forced the ball wide to Milner and dealt with anything he could come up with. Extremely frustrating.

I hope Klopp sees the Henderson is not a good option as the defensive midfielder. We need someone to do a better job of controlling the game.

In total, Burnley had about 19% over the course of the whole match, which is the lowest total by a winning team in the PL since Opta introduced the possession stat in 2003. Crazy stuff.

I remember Celtic once won a CL game vs Barcelona with 15% or something ridiculous like that.

EDIT: 16.4% according to that article. Was in 2012.

You need more over the top hyperbole. I said you can see its culturally different. You said betting the farm.

Relax.
