Stampede Events for Clients

Hey,

My office is looking to do some cool stuff with our business clients during Stampede and I was wondering if anyone had cool and unique ideas that we can try out (besides rodeo, concerts, cowboys tent, etc.).

Depending on your business and connections you could get tickets to many events.

it would depend on your clients and type of profession you're in. From my experience people don't really want events. Just food and alcohol at a pub or hotel ballroom where they can drop in, meet people and mingle will suffice.

If you make an actual event like i don't know.. golf. Some people don't like golf. Some people don't like being outside. Some people don't like spending hours there. Some people don't like structure. Some people will argue what group they got put in and can't talk to others. It can be a mess.

Don't move to far away from the spirit of Stampede.

One year my office decided to do a lunch at Teatro's during Stampede. About 20% of the invites came.

How much time do you have? A good stroll around Banff/Canmore during the day, then back into the city for the typical Stampede festivities could be an idea that works well.

National with bowling is a good option. You still get the country band and stampede food but you also get good beer, and an activity to do.
