Was his left blinker running the whole time, because if it was then Harrrison Ford is like my Dad if my Dad had a pilots license.

Posting this in a thread about Harrison Ford being seriously injured when he wasn't is bad and you should feel bad.

Two years later and those posts by Estrada are still just as terrible. It's a wonder Bigtime didn't dive bomb him.

FFS. I thought this was a new thread and got all confused with him landing on a golf course then landing at John Wayne.

Nice of you to bring that up. If anything Ford has kind of helped my argument.

He's 74?

I've know pilots who've had to give it up way earlier than that, but those were for health reasons.

Yeah, might be time to clip his wings.

I didn't realize this was an old thread. I thought Zachary Quinto died for a second and I just plain missed it! (I already know Nimoy has passed).

Really? You're going to double down on the 'if you know a lot about something then your opinion is less valid than someone who doesn't know much about something' argument?

I totally missed this thread the first time, but that was a classic.

In fairness, it's a pretty small plane and a pretty big taxi way. I'm sure any of us could have made the same mistake.

I don't know about that, the blatant lack of a runway number, should have been a strong indication, as well as the 737 taxiing across what he thought was an active runway. Should have been a go-around, the fact he continued to land shows incompetence.

Was just on a delayed flight out of Calgary and a much bigger plane landed way closer to us than that. Almost exact same position and scenario.

I thought it was pretty strange but after seeing the outrage over that....wondering what went wrong now.

So a much bigger plane went right over you?

Or were you holding short of the runway and it appeared close?

Big difference.

Ford was heard muttering "And I thought they smelled bad on the outside" as he made the landing.
