Flames should win a close one tonight.

The Phoenix game was unfair, one of those 1/3 games you lose every year.

Yay! Hopefully Dustin Brown can wake Giordano up!!

Flames bitchslap the Kings harder than a Sutter trade with the Rangers.

3-2 destruction!!!

The girlfriend's dad was feeling generous, so I've got some fantastic tickets to the game.

I think it will be a wide open first period, but it slows down in the second and third. Flames win 4-3 in regulation.

Wouldn't this news mean Smith-Butler?

Honestly that's probably the best 3rd pairing combo we can have out there.

Taylor might get a chance for redemption against Phoenix on Sunday (the back half of a back-to-back set), but I think it's the right call to go with MacDonald tonight. We really need to win this one, and due to the way the team plays in front of him, he gives us the best chance to do that.

Damn I was hoping to see Danny Taylor in again, it would be pretty cool to play his old team.

/ always want to see younger players

#Flames Sven Baertschi is on the ice for the morning skate, but is wearing a "yellow" caution jersey.

Welcome back Darryl.

Hopefully the Flames do it right the second time, and give proper recognition for the man who pulled this organization's reputation out of the crapper and put it back at the top of the league for a half decade.

Last time, he got 3 seconds on the jumbotron after the anthem and before the puck drop...and then at the first TV timeout..."I'm coming home" song comes on, and....its for the player who spent one season here a couple years back in Cammalleri, not the one who spent a decade and coach and GM. Ridiculous.

It doesn't have to be anything fake or contrived, but give Darryl at least 10-15 seconds on the jumbotron so that the fans that want to show their appreciation, can...Stanley Cup or not in LA, the fans here should be allowed that privledge, no matter what management's/ownerships feeling may or may not be at the time they fired him, or now.

He wouldn't be able to hear you with his stanley cup ring in one ear and being a little deaf in the other.

Time to move on from his era and look ahead to fixing the mess he left behind.
