They’re also deeper on D and have better goaltending than LA. Sure, the Oilers could still win if they continue to get favourably lopsided reffing, but I think this will be a much tougher series for them overall.

I don’t think so. If Vegas wins tonight, game 7 is on Sunday. Other than that weird Covid year, the NHL won’t start a series before all the other series have finished
