Game centre has monthly passes available for 29.99. Cheaper then a few pints at a bar.

Pay the 29.99 for tomorrow's game and let someone borrow it for the rest of the month.

Maple Leaf Pub in Houston is great. Calgary guy owns and runs it. Really nice guy and huge Flames fan. Flames game will be on with sound. Houston's only hockey pub and always packed. I always go there when I am down there for work. Will be way better than watching on computer in hotel room. Thursdays they used to (probably still do) Steak Night. Something like $15 for a big steak and baked potato. Beer is cheap there as well and they have Canadian beers.

Appreciate the info, but I am up in Woodlands and DT Houston is a bit of a drive from here. 45 mins according to Google but with Houston Traffic it could be hours...

Plus if I have to drive then a few beers is out of the question.

Are you sure it's not blacked out? I'm in Houston as well and I don't plan on being able to watch on my NHL.tv. DirecTV Now has a free 7 day trial, might want to look into that.

On the Direct TV package at the Hotel...yes. Only 1 channel showing hockey.

It may or may not show the flames game tonight.

I got a game centre code for temp use.

Thanks all.

Ok, but don't count on it not being blacked out on GCL, I wasn't able to watch any games last night. Since all the games are "nationally televised" (albeit on obscure channels), they black them out. You may be able to get around it with a VPN if you have one. My plan for tonight is DirecTV Now (online streaming service).

It will be blacked out on GCL - i have to use a VPN to watch playoff games as I don't have cable. All playoff games are blacked out as they are televised nationally

I use Sportsnet Now more than GCL these days. No blackouts, as long as you subscribe to the channel the game is on on your cable package
