Doubt it, you don’t switch when your goalie has played great. Especially benching your goalie going forward in favour of the one who is going UFA.

I had a feeling the Bruins may choke this one away. There's something about this team and their resolve. Has any team ever choked 3-1 leads in back to back years?

Nope.

Saw a tweet that said nobody has ever done it in back to back years in the NBA, MLB, or NHL.

Funny, my first thought was the '94 Flames against Vancouver and then the '95 Flames against San Jose. Flames choked the 3-1 series lead in '94 and then choked a 3-2 series lead in '95. Ugh, brutal--30 years later and I'm still upset about both of those series.

It’ll be just enough hope for Tre to cling to this core for 5 years if disappointment.

I don't think either the Leafs or Bruins put up much of a fight against Florida.

Scenario...

Panthers fans chanting "We want Toronto" ahead of game 7, then the Leafs win and beat the Panthers in 5.

A bit similar to the Vancouver/Nashville snooze fest. 2 terrible teams going at it.

It's why I said Florida likely sweeps Boston, or now possibly Toronto.

Panther fans won't be chanting anything until the next series, their series is long done.

Whatever, still cheering for the Canes. Bruins are just not the same without Bergeron. They're done!

Can't write off either team because both have shown how incompetent they can both be. Both defences have been more or less average. Offences tend to be hits or misses game to game. Goaltending I'd give the edge to Boston given the likely ability to handle more adversity but Woll is solid too. So it really comes down to the cliche of which team will try harder. Crazy how Boston was so pathetic for the past couple games. Leafs the two games before that as well. What was supposed to be a great series has turned into a stinker.

Morgan Reilly looks like he's going to sell me a used car that he knows is going to crater 4 days later.
