So why didn't the Flames beat these losers again? For a so-called elite team, they sure seem pretty mediocre all of a sudden.

Watching the game at the pube. There are ENTIRELY too many Calgarians pulling for the Greasers here. The bar even put on the red light siren when they scored! What the hell's the matter with you people?!?
I'm definitely leaving after the first, this is gross and I won't support it

So like 2006? Just like most pubs in Edmonton were in 2004?
It's all about the Benjamin's.

Dear god...can they stop talking about this shadowing junk already. More time spent on that then on calling the game. Unbearable.

I think it was accidental and Letestu lost where he was, but obvious and easy penalty call.

No, it's really not. Montour did not knock over Gibson without help.

I'm not sure if it was deliberate but there's no doubt his contact caused the defender to take out the goaltender.

They were mediocre in RD 1, too. With Talbot in goal, we're leading that series 3-1 after 4 games.

Bernier was pretty solid in that game where he came in. Maybe if Gibson looks leaky again they should give him a shot.
On a side note: it's amazing to witness the change in fortunes/bounces/luck in a Ducks series that doesn't involve the Flames. I'm pinning that round one on Elliott for sure cause the Flames were more than good enough to not be swept by these guys.
