ugh, the 109 bus

gotta hand it to you guys riding in today. I looked at the snow and said forget it. I don't care about getting wet and sloppy on the way home, but I don't want to deal with it on the way in and the thought of putting on wet dirty gear for the ride home.....

It was not very wet for my ride in, though maybe that's just my new fenders at work! Looking forward to shorts weather though, this has been dragging on for way to long.

I need to get fenders on my bike before I can ride in on a day like today. It's been a bad week for getting on the bike this week. Hoping to make up for it tomorrow.

This is from a few years ago and I guess it's a lot bigger now.

If you volunteer you get first crack at the bikes. I might check it out to see if I can get a "project bike".

Friday is Bike to Work Day. It's going to be a warm one so the paths should be packed. They're hosting a pancake breakfast in Eau Claire and will have vendors and tune ups available.

Also, Tuesday, June 6th is Bike to School day. Get your kids school involved.

i wish i was riding home this afternoon.....with a warm afternoon today and a high of 27 tomorrow, I am hoping to only rock shorts and a light long sleeve shirt on the rides into the shop tomorrow and friday

I brought shorts/shirtsleeve for the ride home. I was cooking when I got into the office this morning with the long stuff on.

Tomorrow and Friday are going to be great.

I for one, will kind of miss the shoulder season. I have an extremely short ride, so I just ride in my work shirt when the temperatures are cool enough. Today marks day one of packing a shirt to ride home in.

was a smidge on the cool side, but nicest morning of the year so far. it will be nice to bike home without having to carry stuff like a jacket, long sleeve shirt and tights that I don't need to wear
