This one could go either way. I think the Blues have been the hotter of the two teams of late. I'd like to see Nashville win, that building would be fun to see in the next round. But I'll take the Blues in 7.

Nashville just swept Chicago.

No one is hotter than Nashville right now.

While I would like to see a longer series (for more hockey action and Rinne saves), what I really I want is to ensure the Preds make it through to crush either Anaheim or Edmonton.

St. Louis would likely be a easy task for either. Preds in 6

I'd like to see Nashville make the finals and even win the cup.

One thing that both Nashville and St. Louis have had going for them in this year's playoffs is goaltending. Both Rinne and Allen have been terrific, and much better than Gibson has been for Anaheim, or Martin Jones was for SJ.

I think Anaheim/Edmonton are both likely to struggle with their third round opponent because of excellent goaltending, even if St. Louis advances. But I think this series ends on Friday.

Which i find to be misleading. Having watched a lot of Predators hockey, he certainly hasn't been relied upon to utterly steal most of the games like he may have been in previous seasons. He's been terrific this playoffs, but I wouldn't say he's the reason they are where they are this year.

The high tempo, everyone aboard mentality is what is carrying them through. It also doesn't hurt that they have a tremendously talented top 6 either. Edmonton or Anaheim are going to be hard pressed to beat them if they can seal the deal on Friday.

They have amazing fans. I'd love to go to a game there as it seems everyone is into it. The hazing of the goalie has gone on since they first started and they seem to have some other chants that most of the fans know. It appears to be a bit more of a College atmosphere mixed with a bit of real Football (soccer) atmosphere. It looks like it would be awesome.

I'd also like to see them make it for the Calgary connection with Brett Wilson.

Ryan Ellis seems to have taken his game to a whole new level. When you have a top 3 on the back end of Josi, Subban, and than Ellis, to me that's a big differentiator. Especially since Ekholm is no slouch as a number 4. If that group stays healthy they can ride that a long way.

I hope they win this round, and that they destroy the jerk team they face next.

Nashville's drafting of D is out of this world.

Shea Weber (became Subban), Ryan Suter, Roman Josi, Ryan Ellis, Mattias Ekholm.

The predators wiggled their way into my heart because I thought it was hilarious to smash people online in the NHL games while wearing their putrid mustard jersey. Have never had a problem cheering for them since.

People are quick to rage quit to a team wearing that.
