Male birth control to be available by 2017?
I think there was a thread about this on here a few months ago, but I saw it come up again on twitter and thought I'd post it. Would the dudes here sign up for it? My girlfriend uses the patch, but it sounds like this method might be a better option, as there isn't any messing hormones like there is with female birth control.

Don't know if I would want to be injecting polymers into my body, nor injecting a dissolving agent in there.
I can see where this would be effective for couples that have been together for a long time and had been tested for STD's for example.
But for a one night stand there is still nothing better then bagging it.

I'd have done it yesterday. Then I'd c### it off all around the house screaming "It's okay, it's okay! They're blanks!" 
Then 2 weeks later I'd be released from the special ward.

if i was single, i'd take it - be nice to know that you are protected by science and a little latex......i am married (which is birth control on it's own) with two lovely children, and i have had the wires pulled - so no need

iif my options were the pill or the wires pulled - i'd still get the wires pulled (and i say that as a guy who had some complications with the procedure). it is a one time thing, and cov'd by the gov't and why have to go to the drug store and buy drugs monthly.
