Default Co-Ed Naked Yoga in Calgary

I like to think I have a pretty equal view of the sexes.

But, no, just no.

http://metronews.ca/news/calgary/122...eamy-practice/

Quote:
You’ve heard of naked yoga, the bare-all activity that swept the nation in whispers, piquing the curiosity of downward dog newcomers and seasoned warrior pose veterans. But there’s a new class in town that’s raising eyebrows for some and warranting sun salutations from others.
Naked Yoga has made it’s way to Calgary, and now the class is offered to co-ed students. Katherine Medina found a home for her class at Like Minded People studio after nearly three months of searching and ran her first class open to the public Friday.
“I go in and I read them the riot act,” Medina said. “I tell them if you’re here for an orgasm you’re in the wrong place, this is yoga.”
Being one of the few in Canada to publicly advertise her classes, and according to her, the only person offering the co-ed option, Medina gets some hate.
“I don’t mind that feedback necessarily,” Medina said. “People need to feel empowered…by removing clothing it’s just one of those symbolic ways of removing restrictions.”
The focus of the class is body positive, aiming to help folks build up self confidence. Often people’s intentions for coming to the first class are mixed, Medina said, adding sometimes people go thinking they will get ogled or hit on.
“They’re pleasantly surprised it’s not like that at all,” said Medina.

You still have to wear clothes to and from the class so Lululemon's will still be in high demand. I would probably just show up in a long, dark, trench coat.

They need to make it hot naked co-ed yoga. The aroma of co-ed sweat and body odours coupled with co-ed genitalia and anal orifices spread out in crow poses are going to result in unforgettable four-dimensional experience for everyone involved.

I can't find a webcam site that puts webcams in naked yoga studios and charges people to watch. I think there's an unexploited porn niche!

Why would you want to be in a room with other people's sweaty puckerholes festering your air quality for an hour? Atleast pants and shorts contain that #### locally.

I know that at times, because I practice and really enjoy DDP Yoga and do it at home alone is because I'm not confident that in a group setting when I do a human cannonball that I'm not going to release a fart of monumental wall shaking proportions, which becomes even worse if your buck naked and your human gas cannon is facing a row of people behind you.

I was just about to make the same comment. You and I operate on the same level my friend.

I think co-ed naked yoga classes would just turn out to be a class with 10 perverted dudes and 1 overweight sexually frustrated female unfortunately.

The "the-easiest-way-to-make-money-on-the-internet-is-porn" level?

You'd have to hire people to do the class, give them a cut of the proceeds kind of thing. Pay extra to view a "private lesson" between the instructor and someone from the class.

You've got some serious personal anger issues, MMF and you should seek some professional help. I'm serious. Would you have said something like this to a big biker dude sitting next to you in a bar and fully expecting to be punched in a face right back? I doubt it, unless you are a masochist. Then why are you posting personal insults? It looks like I am defending "1stLand" but I am not a fan of his posting style too and I don't find his posts neither informative nor funny. I just really despise your aggressive attitude most of the time. Take it FWIW.

haha, I'm not even angry, you're 10x more upset than I am. I really despise you're ultra passive-aggressive posting style, with little smileys on the end of them. Big whoop. Just generally have a low threshold for general BS. I generally call people out on their bullcrap, which opens me up to be called on mine (like you did, yay!) have no problem with that.

Though I get that that offends and upsets some.

Not cool. "That's just simple straightforward me guy" is not an excuse for being obnoxious. The forum is an exchange of posted opinions, which have no facial expressions, no vocal tone and, often, no real persons behind them. Discussing an opinion is completely OK. Insulting a poster is completely unproductive and unacceptable.

We all have our varying opinion of what we find obnoxious. I find you generally unbearable at times but we have different views on what is unbearable or not. Personally I find ultra passive-aggressive people to be annoying. Say what you mean, without being coy or cute about it. I do think calling out posters, for a varying degree of reasons, improves a forum. Keeps things honest. I can also call people out and still like them or get called out and not be upset about it. I'm not upset you played online psychologist, I found that hilarious. Though I do think suggesting someone seriously seek professional help, after diagnosing them online is far more offensive than anything I said. Something to be sad about being too sensitive.

Probably PM me if we want to continue this.
