2017 CPHL Draft Party?
I will be in Calgary during the 2017 CPHL draft, I must have missed my draft party invitation.
Where's the party? Will there be a computer I can make some picks?
All my love.

We might qualify for family admission (2+ youths) if all the GMs attend

If ya go to Shanks, each person gets a free beer and a free order of wings for a draft party.
I've gone to a few CP playoff drafts there and that's how they've always worked.

Neither the Islanders nor the Oilers can get into Schanks unless we set up some sort of elaborate Skype session.

Will Shanks turn a blind eye to me bringing a minor (Scop) to a draft party? Or can I just drink his beer and eat his wings?

The rest of us are super old. They'll turn a blind eye if he can grown some peach fuzz. Or just wear a suit and tie. It adds a few years. I can sell you a few Zegnas if he's around 5'10 and 185ish. I've outgrown them. Super cheap.

I do own a tuxedo, but I feel like wearing that would arise suspicion.
Also, I weigh about 55 pounds under the requirement you've set there, JD. I'm a stick. Only about an inch shorter, though.

Believe it or not I'm even younger than Scorpion so it could be a little tough . I can think of a few bars/pubs that allow minors if anyone wants to hear me out.

Are we talking an NHL draft party or CPHL draft party?
If the latter, then I would caution that the key to the draft is efficiency and speed. So if doing a draft party where a bunch of GMs are picking from a bar - then it could create issues.
I think a get together is a great idea, but the CPHL draft may not be the best fit. Also remember we start at 10 am. Not sure when Shanks opens.
