League 1 is incredibly difficult to get out of. If Tranmere continue this form, they will do well to win promotion. It's early days still, but to be top of the league is nice.

I dont think they will, but its fun while it lasts, not to mention, I dont know about Tranmere's financial status, but I'm not sure if they could compete in the Championship without getting bounced.

Possibly. They would start playing at some decent sized venues and they will be getting lots more revenues. The key will be to hanging in for a year and not overspending to do so. This seems to have worked for the Albion. 10th last season and top of the league at present. They've been able to strengthen quite a bit and create some much needed depth.

Lots of unpredictability in the Championship downwards. Not that long ago Man City were in League 1. Much more exciting than the EPL. And the biggest bonus is no Man Utd fans!

Considering Brentford are the lowest scoring team in the league I think they can be pleased. I'm looking forward to the game on Tuesday, my first at Griffin Park.

This was what Uwe Rosler (Brentford Manager) had to say on the BBC website:

Quote:
"It's very difficult to say what my emotions are but we are very happy about the point.
"We were 1-0 down with 30 seconds to go and we scored.
"I think we definitely have to be very happy about that point - but tomorrow morning I think I will be disappointed."

Yeah, they picked up the 87th minute go-ahead goal.

Wow. What do Rovers have to do to start earning some attention? 30 points out of 12 games and +21 GD. Undefeated!

Is there something going on where people are anticipating this team will just tumble down the standings?

Bournemouth 3-1 Tranmere

First loss of the season

Tranmere led 1-0 at the half then it all fell apart.

Tranmere lost again.. 1-2 to Doncaster on Tuesday.

Ian Hume scored the winning goal in injury time. What a stupid player!
