Default Thoughts on Logos being reversed on official merchandise?

I recently purchased a cool (so I thought) old time flames hoodie off the shop NHL and was disappointed to find that one of the logos was reversed. So the hoodie comes with the flaming C on Both shoulders but only one is displaying correctly.

Thoughts? I think that it is BS to produce a product displaying the logo incorrectly!!

Never buy anything from the NHL shop. The quality is surprisingly bad considering they are an official NHL merchandise store.

I absolutely hate reversed logos. Nike also does it on the NFL jerseys and it looks stupid IMO.

Can you even call the nike logo reversed when they put it that way on almost every right foot shoe they've ever made?

Put me in the "it looks dumb" camp.
That's a super nice hoodie though. Not sure why they'd mess it up by screwing with the logo.

That is an example of something you should have ordered from China.......do other teams have the same hoodie? If so how do their logos look?

The concept of the "backward" American (Canadian too, I suppose ) flag is that usually on the right hand side/shoulder, its meant to signify going forward/running into battle (as if you're carrying a flag pole) with the flag streaming behind you, as opposed to running away.

I am sure Nike's taken that similar type of attitude with their logo.

Different when you're turning around a letter, obviously.

That said, I also see ones of that style on NHL.com have the flag patches, not the "C", and look to be a darker red.

That would drive me batty. Is it a patch? If so I would go and buy two small patches and replace them on both shoulders (so they match). I know when you buy a hoodie like that you shouldn't have to be making any alterations like that, but I'd much rather do a little sewing and have a hoodie I'm happy with...

It's stitched on. I've already bought myself an Alberta flag patch to cover it up. not happy when I already spent $100usd on this item
