tonights win is credited to our D who played great hockey, the team put in a 60 min effort and that was key to only being 6 points back of the Nucks.

McGrattan 2 thumbs up.

Flames have another shot on Wednesday to go over .500 with San Jose coming in on the second night of a back-to-back after travel from Vancouver.

Will they finally make that jump?

I agree, except AV is clearly lying. You can hear AV yell on TV, and unless he said it six times in four different languages, he didn't just only say "that's an elbow"

I'd probably lean that way as well, but the guys on the radio clearly stated, "if what he said was true......"

Oh I know, that's why I said I agree. AV is clearly lying though. A poster here was behind the bench (I know) and you can hear it on tv. Add to that the Canucks rep for whining about missed calls and diving, you can't possibly believe his side of the story

He was probably mad about the refs not calling the dives all over the ice. Especially the one by mason Raymond who catapulted himself into the corner like a complete embarrassment he is, and we went right down and scored.

One of these days one of the players will injure themselves by going into the boards and hurting a shoulder or something.

AV whining and crying about how the Flames won the game on Stajan getting away with an elbow according to AV and the Sucks.
So according to AV he only said once "that's an elbow". What BS he was ripping into the ref for more than a few sentences, yelling at the ref.
Also AV your collection of whiners had 9 min to still play.
So are you telling us the Twinks and company threw in the towel then.

Anyways awesome game. Danny Taylor was good but not spectacular. Good enough to win and he seems to be there when they needed him. I was impressed with Stajan, Giordano, Stempniak, JayBo playing against the Sedin's twin.

Really good game. The Flames played well.

I think you could make the argument that Baertschi was the best Flame in that game. Several really good chances and some really great plays in the Flames end. He's going to start burying chances soon I think.

McGrattan's impact can't be denied.

AV is whining so much because his job is on the line. Canucks fans are calling for his head.

Pat Steinberg@Fan960Steinberg

Kiprusoff taking part in full practice today. Wouldn't write off him being ready in some capacity for Wednesday. #Flames

We were very close to a disaster if it wasn't for that Jbo (kinda flukey) block at the end. A bit of a crisis averted to be honest.

Either way, solid game for the Flames. I love what McGrattan added to the team last night. Safe to say that Jackman is obsolete if McGrattan keeps it up?

Makes me really happy that Taylor got the start last night then. Looked pretty shaky at times, but managed to tighten up the rest of the game. Nice to see him get his first NHL win. He has done a lot for the Heat, and it is nice to see a guy like this getting rewarded. I expect he will probably get sent down as soon as Kipper is activated.

I was pretty worried with the scrambley pressure the Can'tnucks had at the end. It'd be nice if we played with that intensity on the power play.
