Ok everyone, realistically this is great. We will win 3 or 5 more games this year get a decent pick and nail it. Lose 43 games next season in front of a full house to make Murray happy. Repeat the next 2 years give or take a loss or 5. Then Pelletier, Wolfs replacement and yet to be named d-man will lead us to an epic playoff run in the new building.
Our job in all this is to be sure to buy tickets. All the tickets that are available.
It’s actually really simple

Who's worth anything? Andersson, Coleman, and Backlund are the only ones and I don't imagine they want to go anywhere.

Backlund knew what he signed up for.
Kadri may ask to be moved.
I would be shocked if Coleman asks for a trade this offseason.
Huberdeau can ask for a trade, he would have to help facilitate that.
I don’t think weegar will want out. He’s also could be a Gio with the team when we start competing.
Keep in mind we have the CBA up before our arena opens. Comoliance buyiuts could make a comeback.

We will draft another Gaudreau in the 4th round anyway, forget that condition. Vancouver will lose and hopefully riot.
Then we can get the 2nd round pick from Las Vegas if they win a round.

2. Vancouver beats Vegas Round 2

Vancouver only riots after the finals. A round 1 loss doesn't get much attention. Most people here don't even know the playoffs are happening until round 3.
