A win would be a treat, but all I want out of this game is for Giordano to have a rink-length headstart at Ribeiro and beast him into 2017. Good god I hate that little puke.

I think the fact that Ferland is making his NHL debut on the 1st line says volumes about not only how much depth we lack on RW but also just how bad Jones and Seto are for a couple of vets.

I don't think you'd call Ferland/Granlund/Hudler the top line. I'd bet Hartley thinks Glencross/Monahan/Jones is.
And it's not that unusal to give callups a good role for their first shift debut.
