Please just no Colborne on the top line. He constantly holds onto the puck too long and loses it. He's taking puck time away from Gaidreau who actually creates offence when he has the puck. You can't have two guys who love to hold onto the puck on the same line.

He is a guy who has size but has no clue how to throw it around. Ferland is not as big as Colbourne but he knows how to use his size. We either need someone chippy with skill (Bennett) or some muscle with skill (Ferland). If Hunter Smith could get his skating up to their level he would be a nice option to have with Gaudreau-Monahan as he does have really good hands in close.

So weird to see all the sequential things going on with the 17, 18, 19 getting goals last game, now the standings:

Arizona 42
Vancouver 41
Calgary 40
Anaheim 39
San Jose 38
Edmonton 37

And if I sit through another game where Colborne leads on ice time... boy oh boy. I'll... probably yell at my TV

Just score first so we aren't forced to see the Coyotes bore everyone in the Saddledome and on TV into absolute comatosity. I don't care if that isn't a word, it is appropriate in this case. Go Flames!

That would likely piss off all those coulda-been Safeway Score and Win candidates over the years.

Bennett puts 50 pucks in the net. Flames lose 1-0.

Ladislav Smid is out, Deryk Engelland is in...only change #Flames will make for tonight's game vs. #Coyotes.

Always interesting when your 6th/7th defensemen together make a combined 6.5 MM for both this season and next. Hopefully we can find a trade that ships both of them out and then find some cheaper guys.

I feel sorry that she will have to witness the one that is Tippett hockey. If the flames jump on them early, you should be good.

It can't be worse than when I took mine to the Ducks game last week. I'm shocked she's still game for the next one in February.

Get that Gormley jersey stitched!

It would be pretty funny to have him dress for tonights game if the Flames nabbed him. (yes, I know it wasn't the Coyotes who waived him today)

Going to the game tonight!!! Got free tickets from work, can't wait to go again tonight. Please don't get stuck by the trap tonight and be a boring game. Come on Flames!

I just want a win. This will help solidify them in a playoff spot beating this team tonight, 4 point swing would be nice.
