Wouldn't mind to see for one night:
Baertschi-Monahan-Hudler
Cammy-Backlund-Stempniak
Glencross-Colborne-Galiardi
Bouma-Horak-McGrattan

I like it but I'd switch Baertschi-Monahan-Hudler to second line and put the backlund line as top but I wouldn't mind not seeing glencross on the top line

I love these late night starts. It means the game won't end until 11pm.

Horak will but Colborne won't (they won't want to risk losing him to waivers). Steet also likely goes down and given how fond they are of Bouma I would wager Jackman goes on waivers before they send him down (although I think he's still waiver exempt so they might send him down if they decide they don't want to risk losing anybody).

If Cammalleri doesn't play, Horak or Jackman better recover from their hard skate when the rest of the #Flames left the ice.

Many indications point to Cammalleri playing. He was off the ice early, usually a positive indication. Officially game time. #Flames
Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg 51s
Horak, on the other hand, late off the ice. Usually an indication he won't play. Again, officially a game time decision. #Flames

More from LA: Breen won't play tonight. #Flames

When was the last time a player on the flames with a 1way was sent down to the Heat (BESIDES Blair Jones)....
I remember the only player with significant games under his belt was Kotalik. I wonder where he is at these days anyway... The only good thing that guy did was the shoot out and he was such a waste because he was such a big body and his shot was so heavy...
With all that typed, I doubt jackman is put through waivers.

So happy to have Cammy back!
Say whatever you want, the injuries showed in ANA and SJ. It's great to see Sven and Monhan (and Hudler) provide offense, but they've been the only ones to put the puck in on the front end, when technically they're the 3rd line, and should be getting offensive support from the other lines which aren't packing much punch right now.
If we get another body in soon then Monahan and Sven can be properly sheltered and can chew up some favorable opponents, while hopefully the top line/s can start chipping in too.

Sorry. I should have explained it better... I meant to ask when was the last time a player with "significant" games played been put through waivers on the flames... Aka Kotalik.
But totally with Derek smith... I forgot about him

Flames will surprise in this one. 5-2 for Calgary. Monahan and baertschi each with a goal. Cammi gets a goal in his first game back.

I love the complaints about an 11.30 finish for the guys in the East, the game doesn't even start until 3.30am for me

He really hasn't played any competitive hockey since last February. It didn't look like Hartley was going to insert him in the lineup anytime soon and he was still within the window where he could be sent down without clearing waivers again. He will be some solid minutes with the Heat.

Going with 7 defenseman. Breen back from injury meant he was the odd man out.
