I'd assume that this guy does not spend 40 hrs per week making these vid's....
He scours CBC archives (mostly tape), works on acquiring royalties for music, plans the montage, implements, edits, etc. I can easily see him putting in at least 25-30hrs a week on a montage (if not more).

In a past life, we spent an entire year making a 30 minute video.
This montage is epic.

Definitely one of the weaker ones I have seen from CBC.

Great montage, but it's so representative of why CBC isn't going to around much longer.
"Let's hire a full-time employee to make 3 minute video montages once a week!"
Seemed like a great idea with taxpayer money. Private money, however? Not so much.
Enjoy it while you can gents
Do you ever just stop and enjoy anything in life?

I was in highschool in the early 2000s, and made a similar montage for a "language arts" project in grade 11. Downloaded whatever video was available on napster, edited out the parts I liked, threw a kickass song behind it, and in all of about 4 hours I had a montage.
Surely someone at CBC in 2014 has it a lot easier, and a lot more resources than I had.
Stop being such an angry twat all the time Tyler.
