Agreed. His 2nd tweet sounds very similar to something Boring Monahan would say, and then it sounds more like a Danny Heatley feed. It was a poor idea to copy something really well done, and then an even worse idea to continue with the crap he's using. There's a reason he has 5 followers, with 1 being a Leafs' fan and another that looks like a terrible TV show.

As much as US hockey eyes talked up the depth is terrible.
That's why you see their junior team putting up 7th place finishes a few years ago and a 6/7 place last year.
With its population it can get 20 solid guys every 4 years and once and a while get a decent junior team if everything works out but consistency and depth wise it is still light years behind the top teams.

Who the heck are these guys? I only recognized a few of them : Seth Jones, Jake Gardiner, Mueller, Trouba and maybe Kevin Hayes because he played with Gaudreau and Arnold's line... the rest just wow!! Good luck TEAM USA!

Probably much less so after an Olympic year.

Craig Smith was one of Nashville's leaders in points. Which I guess speaks to their forward depth but he's not a complete slouch either.

Gaudreau is not one of the fifteen players announced today for US team.
Sure he will be officially named soon.

I think it's smart for the US to use the world championships as a way to develop players for the Olympics or the World Cup if it comes back. I think the players they have going reflects that. All young guys who are just turning pro or are young players already in the NHL.

Still no Gaudreau
RT @IIHFHockey: Team USA adds Colin McDonald (NY Islanders), Andy Miele (Phoenix) & Connor Murphy (Phoenix) for #IIHFWorlds. http://t.co/fFx2VBD3vM

Dot understand why gaudreau hasn't been announced yet. This team so far has a lot of players who are less proven than he is and he would be the most dynamic forward on the team judging by the players listed so far.

Show some respect. Matt Donovan is Oklahoma's first born and bred hockey player? How could you not know him? I mention him like every 2 weeks.

Hey I am telling the truth. I don't know any of those guys and that's not being disrespectful. Is this mean I have to pretend like a smart hockey fan and say oh yeah those guys are good.
That's because you mentioned Matt Donovan several times means I read it and should know the player. There are so many players not in the NHL got mentioned in this board. I do follow some of the post regarding Flames prospects though.
