Big win. Beat a hot team and racked up a bunch of runs. Great start to the series.
Rasmus with a monster night at the plate, and Romero is now 7-1.
Great night.

Great night indeed. Rasmus looks great in the two spot, and Lawrie has the ability to be good leadoff hitter. Heaving speed ahead of Jose, and whoever hits cleanup will be very good for the team.I would not mess with the lineup too much.

EE at the 4th spot and then just move everyone else down a spot is what I think will happen.

I actually wouldn't have liked this lineup in the abstract - but it sure worked.
I would've had Coop hitting #2, assuming the plan is to keep him in the show.

An RBI as he walks on an up & away fastball, a 2-run HR to the opposite field, I don't know what more Coop has to do to stay with the big club.
I actually might have preferred him in the 2 hole better than Rasmus, but Rasmus is raking and says he prefers hitting 1st inning. I'm not sure if Coop fits in a primary RBI spot but I really like him in the lineup.
I realize I may be oversimplifying, but an RBI walk in the 1st inning makes it a tough day for an opposing pitching staff and seems extremely impactful to me.

Yan Gomes called up and might be in the lineup tonight.
Other little notes:
Blue Jays 2-6 vs TB, 27-20 vs rest of MLB - don't play TB again until Augus
Francisco Cordero 1st 11.1 IP: 9.53 ERA, 2.29 WHIP - last 11.1 IP, 1.59 ERA, 1.06 WHIP
Colby Rasmus last 14 games .351 AVG, 1.105 OPS

No Eddy again tonight, although it continues to not sound serious and there's no need to rush him back into the lineup. Interesting lineup again tonight, which I'm totally okay with.
Lawrie 3b,Rasmus Cf,Bautista rf, Arencibia c,Escobar ss, Johnson 2b,Gomes 1b Cooper dh,Davis lf

I really like this Jays lineup. Lawrie always looking for that next base and Rasmus has been dynamite near the top of the order.
No Konerko again for White Sox.
De Aza CF, Beckham 2B, Dunn DH, Viciedo LF, Rios RF, Pierzynski C, Ramirez SS, Flowers 1B, Hudson 3B, (Quintana P)

That Jays order definitely is a bit different........Arencibia hitting 4th and Escobar 5th? I understand they're facing a lefty, but it still looks a bit odd. But I kind of like it.

Might as well change it up! I really like the lineup when EE is back. Jays have struggled to get runs early all season.
Orlando Hudson has saved the White Sox a lot today. Jays have had a runner on every inning

Morrow has great stuff. It's the consistency that's been an issue.
His ERA is coming down nicely

Another big win. Morrow has 3 shutouts already this season, that's pretty darn impressive.

Leads the MLB. I don't think any other pitcher has more than one.
Edit: Santana of the Mets has 2, it looks like.

I thought TSN said he pitched a no-hitter. I was really excited for a second there.

I believe in the Jays.

I missed the entire game, but Morrow looks to be back on track! I love watching games with great pitching, I wish I could have caught this one. Go Jays!
