That was a very desperate Stars team in the third period. And a seemingly tired Flames team. 3rd game in four nights and second of a back to back will do that to you, I suppose.

Huge win but that 3rd period was a little disappointing. Hartley and the coaches need to work on getting these guys skating in the 3rd period when they are trying to hold a lead. I know the Ramo fans were picking on Hiller in this game but I thought in the 3rd period he was composed and in the right position to make the saves. I would have no issues with him starting agains the Blues.

Man this game of hockey was a lot easier on my nerves back when we sucked. That third period felt like we were on a penalty kill the entire time.

Hiller redeemed himself in the second and third. Dallas was desperate, knock out of playoff chance desperate and the Flames did a good job in the heat of the moment. Full marks for getting out there with two points when the Kings lost. Huge win in a back to back.
