I really think they're going to regret that. Draisaitl is a good player, but Bennett is on a different level. Thanks MacT and the rest of the KLown show!

Agreed. I could see draisaitl ending up more like Patrick Berglund has for St. Louis... A big, skilled center that shows rare flashes of elite talent but never turns into what they hoped. Never a legit top 2 centerman. I know people like to use kopitar as a comparison to him but I just don't see the two-way game or the speed that kopitar has.

Bennett, on the other hand, looks like he will become a game-breaker. He seems like a mix of Matt Duchene and T.J. Oshie with his physical style, compete level, and awesome hands. A future line up with Monohan, Bennett, and backlund as the one-two-three punch up the middle is going to be fun to watch. Add in gaudreau, baertschi, colborne, poirier, etc. on the wings and the future is bright.

Not everyone, only a few of us said anything about Draisaitl.

All of us who mentioned Draisaitl acknowledged that he's probably going to be a pretty good player in the NHL. We just think Bennett has more upside, and I think most scouts would agree. No one said he was a bust.
