You should be able to find someone that can do it, it really isn't a difficult a process once you find the right one. A good luthier really is hard to find and a bad one are a dime a dozen
Good luck with that
I have a similar chip by my input jack that I need to fix myself, luckily for me it's in a less noticeable place then yours so I'm free to mess it up a bit without worry
Thanks. The video mentioned Frank Ford and his site, Frets.com. It's dated and ugly, but I remember spending many hours reading through his Luthier articles in the mid nineties. I'm shocked (but happy) the site is still running.
**** In-store right now we have trade-booths set up from Roland, Jackson, Radial, TC Electronics, and others who will be demoing all of the latest stomp-boxes, gadgets, and instruments! ****

Holy moley, it was loud and cacophonous in there. I would have sought you out but I couldn't hear myself think. The line6 pricing weren't really deals at all. Quoting list price and then calling the usual sale price as a deal seems like shades of Gordon Price Music.

That's lame. Unfortunately I have no say over what the booth guys do. But then the Line6 stuff was in the Yorkville booth, and Yorkville is owned by Long & McQuade.

Yeah, the quote was L&M's regular price. I'm thinking Yorkville doesn't really care whether you guys sell more or not.
Merry Christmas to all of you! And thank you for all of you that have come to visit me at Axe Music this year. Our boxing-week sale this year is all about PINK! Bright, eyeball burning pink tags have been attached to lots and lots of items throughout the store and there are significant savings to be had!
Hi everyone. This deal is just too good not to post about. I have a brand new Roland FA06 normally priced at $1599.00 that is now maxed out its dutch-auction orange-tag and is now actually priced below cost at $864.02!
Very cool Trad, I'm thinking I'm looking for something 88 key to upgrade from my 61 key Korg M50 though. Maxed out means the auction sheet is filled out and can't go any higher?
Do you have anything in the $400 range? There was one I was going to grab for my wife that was at Costco and included a bench and stand for $400 or $450 - can't remember. It's not there anymore. It had a setting to teach her how to play as well. Do they all have some sort of a tutor feature?

Lots in stock! And yes, maxed out its auction tag means its not getting any cheaper.
You can get the FA06 as the FRA08, which would have 88 fully-weighted keys as opposed to the 61 semi-weighted keys the FA06 has. But we can talk in person.
Hey Trad, I'm looking into buying a pair of studio monitors. I've done some research and shopping around online and I'm pretty much settled on the Sennheiser HD 380 Pros.
I just noticed that Axe carries them as well for cheaper price than Amazon. Do you guys carry them in store?

The tutor feature is not a standard thing, and usually they're not very good anyway. Nothing replaces a real teacher and a lesson in person, but if that isn't feasible then I recommend Youtube and Skype.
The piano you were looking at was likely the Casio CDP230, which was one hell of a deal that I had no access to at Axe. Costco bought such a volume of them that they could blow them out at that price. I can't even get a single unit of that model. I take it you were looking for something that had the furniture style stand as opposed to something designed for gigging?

The HD380PROs are headphones, not studio monitors. Lol. But yes, I have them in the store right now.
