The Heat have not faired particularly well at all in Toronto historically. They're 4-5-0-1 in Toronto.

Watching this in the media lounge while waiting for the Hitmen/Broncos game to start. Will let you know what we get fed for lunch. I'm hoping sandwiches.

Anything less than rice, veggie stir-fry, and pork loins is unacceptable

The Hitmen usually have quite the spread. Last few games has been sausages and delicious salad.

Irving's starting this afternoon.
Ward just said at the end of training camp when they did their evaluations, Irving was third behind the other two goalies. He also said it was mostly because he joined camp late.

Ryan Pinder tweeting that Irving lead team out for warm-ups, could be his first consecutive start this year. Hopefully he follows up last game with another strong performance!
EDIT: PMM beat me to it

They just announced Kolanos is not dressed.
Anyone know if he was hurt or is someone else just drawing in in his place?
Got this one on AHL live, my first time streaming the Heat.
Lets go boys! Kill the stupid Leaf seeds.

Time for Irving to show that amateur hour is over, and a 0.25 GAA just isn't going to cut it if you want to be Kipper's replacement.

I could be wrong but I thought that the Heat rotate their veterans as they have 1 too many. Could be Kolanos' turn to sit. But I am just guessing based on what happened earlier in the season.

You're right. McCarthy sat on Friday, so he draws in tonight.

It'll be interesting to see how that Byron line does. This is the first time Reinhart plays with those two.
