I'm still hoping that the unit Amazon has been saying for weeks would be delivered tomorrow...will actually start shipping sometime soon, and maybe actually get delivered tomorrow.

I haven't bought any games yet. I'm really interested in trying out some VR experiences, but now that the unit is almost here, I'm realizing that no games really stick out to me as must haves. I was going to buy the PlayStation VR Worlds game as the demo disc it is, but there is a free demo disc included. That, and the reviews haven't been stellar for VR Worlds.

Some other things have caught my eye as a good intro to VR, like Job Simulator and The Assembly. I'm a little weary of shelling out $30-40 for things that might be a couple hour experience. But I'm thinking I might give RIGS or BattleZone a try as a launch date AAA title.

I'm really hoping for a VR X-Wing/Tie Fighter full game. Something with a nice solid single player campaign with a variety of missions like the old-school Tie Fighter game. I'm sure if there were such a title, multiplayer would be a big draw. But based on how terrible I am at Battlefield/Battlefront in air vehicles, I'd probably be best to stick to single player. This is all 100% speculation, but whatever this upcoming Battlefront VR X-Wing thing is, if successful, it could lead to a lot of hype for the type of game I'm envisioning.

Those jerks! Though it was just a backup - at least somebody will be able to get it on release day.

Walked in and picked up a bundle at EB Games. They seemed to have quite a few

I can't believe how much fun I had yesterday. I know silentsim had some calibration troubles with his and had a slightly lower experience. How's everybody else?

No word of a lie, the hidden gem of VR is Robot Rescue on that free Playroom game. It's built for kids, but it was the most clever thing I've seen so far.

I only had about 45 minutes to play last night with Monday night football and setup time, but man what a blast. I jumped into the VR world disc and played the ocean encounter. That shark "experience" (I call it that more then a game) was super intense.

Picked up Batman, RIGS and Rez and excited to play with this toy all weekend.

As someone who is petrified of sharks, that experience was pretty heavy for me. I nervously scream-laughed through the whole thing. Even though it was unpleasant, it was hard to ignore just how immersive it was. Tonight is Batman.

OK, Job Simulator is stupid fun. It is a little expensive for what it offers, but I'm the type that will spend 4x the time just messing around rather than completing the objectives (which I have read takes about 30 mins each, 4 jobs=2 hours).

Had some tracking issues, which is frustrating. Tried recalibrating, turning on/off the lights, etc. Someone on reddit said that a full restart (not just dropping to sleep mode) fixes some tracking issues. I'll be sure to try that.

Just picked one up tonight. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get to play. My son did then the game came on.

Played some "Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes" with the Mrs. last night. Crazy fun if you're looking for a party game.

Anyone tried Battlezone, Rigs or Valkyrie? Trying to decide which one to purchase.

I've only spent time with Batman so far...I'm blown away by it.

VR isn't a gimmick. It may not be "there" yet, but it's close. This is amazing.

I own all 3 but have only had time to play the demos of Battlezone and Rigs, and about 15 minutes of Eve. There's too much damn content for me to get through.

I think Eve is is a visual masterpiece, but I'm a bit concerned that the other ships are too hard to destroy. I was in a dogfight where I shot a guy continuously for about 20 seconds. It looked stunning, but that annoyed me a bit.

I'm telling you people... Robot Rescue... it'll change your life.
