No he didn't. He started the 88-89 season in Salt Lake, but by the time they won the Cup, he was a permanent fixture and never played another game on the farm.

I thought the year after they won he got sent down.

they won the cup in 88-89, he played 80 NHL games in 89-90 , they just have Calgary and Salt Lake out of sequence in the 89 season

No... The year they won, he had be sent down...

He was never sent down in 89-90... that's the year you're looking for since that's the year after they won the cup.
