This thread isn't Calgary is better than Edmonton thread.
It is Edmonton is no good.

Where have you been the last 10 years? Four 1st overalls and their best one was only because they had a massive horseshoe up their ass, and from a rule change that was made because of them alone sucking so bad. They deserve all the criticism in this thread and then some.

I hate when "Flames fans" try to shame other Flames fans about posting in this thread. It's a sports/geographic rivalry, it's fun to chirp about your hated arch rivals. Not sure why that needs explaining. The Oilers could go 82-0 and they'd still be "no good".

Exactly, we can still mock them, it's just for different reasons now, such as the fact they employ pukes like Kassian, Maroon, and Lucic. Eerily similar to the hateable Canucks teams of 2010-2014, except they're not that good. For every McDavid fan they recruit, they'll have someone who's sick of having them shoved down their throats. They're basically Toronto west.

This. Without the Flames being relevant in the playoffs, it is worth having a team or two to root hard against. My new favorite team will be whoever is playing the Oilers.
