True, but to be fair, Pinder barely ever says the defensemen names during the games. Unless it's a big hit or a d-man joining the rush, he doesn't usually mention their names. It's a bit weird and something I think Pinder should work on.

I was just trying to do the math... San Antonio, Houston, and/or Milwaukee can pass Abbotsford (I think), but since these three teams play each other, I don't think they can ALL pass the Heat. So I'm going with what you wrote:

According to Pinder, now that the Heat have clinched a playoff spot, it sounds like we might be able to see some of the ATO guys play in this upcoming Toronto series (i.e., Reinhart, Leach, Lamb, Eddy, Elson, etc.)

With that said though, if I were Troy Ward, I would want to try and clinch 4th place to get home ice advantage. Then the guys can sleep in their own beds at night and spend time with their families.
