Maybe he has an extra goal waved off but we all knew it counted.

Zetterberg was 5th with 16:11 which I admit I was wrong about, figured that Yzerman, Holmstrom, Larionov, and Lucky Luc would have been ahead of him on the depth chart.
Even with that in mind Baertschi has played 11:36 which would be 9th on the team with the regular players and has only played 4th line one game.

I don't mind if they try and play Sven some sheltered minutes and would say 13 mins but be the right amount, but not giving him PP time and lining him up with pluggers (even if just to start) seems like a poor way to use him and doesn't make much sense.

Agreed on the PP issue.
I have no problem with him bouncing around the bottom 9 even strength but you need to at least give him some PP time to let him show his offensive ability.
Give him a minute and a half PP on top of his current TOI and you get to that 13 minute mark.

Maybe getting married is a metaphor that there will be no more sucking and they need to take care of their own business.
Go Flames. 3-1 victory for the good guys.

Calgary is up by 4 goals with less than a minute to go in the 3rd. Then Chucko Fletcher, Manager of the wild, makes it onto the ice and distracts MacDonald by jumping on the glass. Heatley ddts one of the refs and Parise gets the other with the knuckledusters hidden in his jock.
The Wild score 4 goals in 10 seconds into an empty net vacated by JoeyMac who runs into the crowd chasing after Fletcher.
We skip OT all together since this is wrestling and there are no rules. We get to the shootout and Stajan who misses the net on his first attempt, gets a 2nd chance on a pass from Tanguay who is sitting on the bench, and scores the shootout winner by throwing the puck into the net while the referee and linesman are distracted by a mooning Harvey.

The previous gutsy wins won't mean much if they can't get at least 1 point out of this game. Seemed to be the story last year, everytime you thought they turned a corner, they lost a game and fell back down the ladder.
Come on Flames, string 3 together! Kipper is coming back soon, things will look a lot different if we are over .500 and our bodies are coming back.

Now we see what they are made of, are the optimists that think we are on the cusp of a breakthrough right or are the pessimists that think we are too soft and easily discouraged right? Please be the first one, please
