A thank you to the Ducks for temporaily silencing the McDavid talk. Never forget 5/5/17.
And say what you want about some of the Ducks vets but they are really really good hockey players, never mind hard to play against. Can only hope that in the next 5 years or so the Flames nurture some of the current roster into players like that.

Which vets? Getzlaf yes, the rest no. I was more impressed with the Ducks younger crop these playoffs. Rackell, Manson, Montour, Theodore, Silverberg (not so young), Fowler, Lindholm, all impressed me.

Completely intentional; as soon as I saw him behind the Preds net with under 20 seconds to go, it was clear he was going to do something to get tossed completely so he didn't have to shake hands.

Bieksa is really turning into a pylon, and he's always been embarrassing even when he was a decent player. He's got another year left at four million. Kesler has five! years left at almost 7.
