Is Brodie also a little bigger this year? He looks bigger to me.

Someone here probably has a better memory than mine...I can't recall Hartley every stating that he likes to roll four lines. I remember Sutter wanting to that, at least that's my recollection. But Hartley's track record here suggests to me that his approach is to consistently use three lines and the fourth sparingly.

Probably has something to do with the talent available. Bringing in Bolig is an upgrade in talent and eventually we'll have someone to replace McGrattan on a regular basis as well.

That could very well be that case. In fact, I hope we see some improvement from the bottom up. We can then use that to gauge whether Hartley tries rolling four lines more often, with forwards averaging between 12-18 mins a night. Or if he continues to have a fourth line group averaging less than 9 mins per game.

Yeah, I'm looking at Ferland. Maybe not on the 4th line but as some of the replacement for toughness. Say Ferland is good enough for the 2nd or 3rd line, that means someone else gets moved down to the 4th line who doesn't need to be a fighter.
