“There’s certainly more optimism,” said Taylor Hall, who will open the season alongside linemates Ryan-Nugent Hopkins and Jordan Eberle, “but with every team I’ve been on since I’ve been here, we’ve had a meeting and outlined how many goals we want to score, and how many points we want to get. Or we’ve broken the season into 10 different segments and we really haven’t done that this year ... which I don’t mind.
“There are no goals, there’s no talk about needing 96 points to be in the playoffs,” Hall continued

The goaltending duo of Hiller and Ramo were outstanding in every game.
Johnny Hockey finally busts loose with a goal and an assist in the last game.
Calgary continues to be haunted by slow starts
The defense continues to allow a lot of shots against, however they are allowing most from the perimeter
Raymond Mason is proving to be a very strong free agent signing as he snipes his 5th goal in game 7
TJ Brodie continues to show offensive confidence to go with his strong defensive play with his third goal.

We slayed the Caps last time they came through, like 5 or 6-2
Laid an absolute beating from start to finish if I recall. Ovie looked bad. Then again we were being severely underestimated by teams at the time. But I don't see the Caps roster as much better this year. I think we could beat them convincingly.
The Lightning are going to be a challenge though. I'm not sure if it's a good thing that I'm going, lol. We could either squeak one out or get trampled by Stamkos and friends. Hopefully we play our closest to a full 60 as we've played this year.
The Caps have routinely kicked the crap out of us before last season. I'm not calling a win against them yet, but I do have hope.
The Lightning are probably going to be top 2 in the East this year…such a dangerous team at all times. It will be tough to beat them. It might look like playing against St. Louis.
Montreal is a very good team too. Depends on which version we get of them because they have been up and down so far.
As we recently saw, Nashville is much better than people thought they would be this year. Every game against them will be pretty tough. Could go either way.
We should be able to crush Carolina. They are bad, bad, bad.
