Pretty awesome for him to having a 2 point night. Hoping he can continue that point production, that press box watch really benefited him more than what I thought it would.
Looks like sitting out a game did him some good as he was a lot more assertive tonight. Even before scoring the goal he looked like he was more confident.

When Giordano was being interviewed tonight, and Gaudreau was mentioned, I believe he said that was the mark of a pro to come back with a good game after sitting out. I also believe he said they were going to have to get the puck to Gaudreau...so maybe we'll start seeing him used more often and effectively.

That's the face of a guy who has been cheering for Winnipeg sports teams so long that he just expects that sort of thing.
The two guys on either side of him would have just been kids when the Jets v1.0 left town. They haven't yet had all their sporting hopes and dreams crushed into a fine powder under reality's boot.

Early in the game I remember seeing this play and thought Johnny might have got a piece of it and it turns out he did. Great defensive play on his part:

That would have sucked if Galiardi managed to notice that puck before it hit his skate.

Man I hope Johnny starts lighting it up night after night after Healy's stupid remarks last night. He already looked stupid from that beautiful goal Johnny scored and the assist as well but he would really have to eat some crow if Johnny won himself the Calder this year.
